I wanted to say SORRY to a really nice guy. All he wanted to do was take me out for dinner but after making several excuses I ignored him! I know it was a horrible thing to do but I just had a lot on at that moment. His outlook to life was very different, very adventurous however his intentions worried me a little. Regardless I know he has a good heart therefore wanted to apologise. What do you think he would say? I`m sure he will know who I am :-)

I personally think your “friend” in question will NOT forgive you… as you were rude to him with your attitude towards him, playing the game of “ignoring” him is not nice, it shows how shallow you really were and highlights your insecurities and inadequacy towards relationships and friendships …
Yes, you are right he did just want to take you out for dinner, but clearly you could not see that… furthermore his intentions were just to make you smile and enjoy your company and yet again you could not see that… (he could see you struggling with your situation and hence the offer of friendship/dinner etc)
Regardless of your situation/problems did you ever think that he may have offered you a solution to them… ?
Your “friend” has a canny ability of thinking outside the box and has helped numerous people with issues/problems greater than yours… (Trust me, I know him well)
Now if you are asking me to advice yourself in the next course of action to take… then this is what I would do if I was in your shoes
1. Arrange a time and date you can spend with him (don’t take no for an answer)
2. Take him out for drinks and dinner (somewhere that is away from the hustle and bustle of big cities)
3. Make sure you dress to kill, (but don’t kill him) show him your best assets (I think he did tell you what they where)
4. Show him that you can take control of the situation, and lead him into your life
5. Show him what a woman can do to make up to him after all you have ignored him for nearly 1.5yrs
6. Give him what he wants without you saying no to him…
Personally I think he will forgive you, if you do the above, especially if you give him access to you and your life.. Good luck, let me know how you get on.. I’m sure my readers would love to know if this story has a happy ending…
